Lance Barbre works at the Mt. Carmel location in the basement of First Bank at 601 N Market Street for CAVU Wealth Advisors. He was born and raised in Carmi, Lance attended the University of Illinois. While attending the University he worked in the Office of Cash Management and endowments. This department was involved with the University’s money flows and the investment of the endowment funds. In the Spring of 1997 he received his bachelor’s degree in Economics. Lance returned to Carmi after graduation and began his investing career with Hilliyard Lyons. He received his series 6, 7 and insurance licenses soon after and he enjoyed the business for over 26 years. He has two children, a son Ty and daughter Sloane. Ty is currently enrolled in Aviation at Southern Illinois University and Sloane attends the University of Maryland in the LAS Honors program.
